کٿهندر kaṭhandar S̱. (काष्ठोदर from काष्ठ Wood, and उदर Belly; the belly being as hard as wood) s. m. Wind dropsy, tympany.

Rebuke, chastisement.

گانجر gānjar H s. f. A kind of grass or verdure. P. H. گانجنا gānjnā (from Pers. گنج) v. a. 1. To store, to hoard. 2. To stir, to agitate. 3. To churn.

کرانا karrānā S̱. (from کرا) v. n. To be hard or stiff. ¶ karānā (causal of کرنا Sans. कारण) v. a. To cause to be done or made, to actuate, to effect. ¶ kirānā, 1. (from Sans. क्रयण) s. m. Grocery. 2. (r. कृ Throw apart, scatter) v. a. To adjust. 3. To sift, to separate by turning round in a winnowing fan (differing from پهٿکنا phaṭaknā).

کهتراني khatrānī क्षत्रियाणी S̱. s. f. The female of کهتري khatrī, q. v.

کمين kamīn A s. f. An ambush. کمين گاه kamīn- gāh, s. f. An ambuscade, or place of ambush.

گجانا gajānā H v. n. To work, to ferment.

کمري kamr-ī P (from کمر) adj. Weak in the loins (a horse), of or respecting the loins. کمري انگرکها kamrī angarkhā, A short jacket or waistcoat.

کانپ kāmp H s. m. (dakh. i. q. نحوست) Bad luck, misfortune. کانپ مارنا kāmp mārnā, A misfortune to be or happen.

کدوکش kadū-kash P s. m. A kind of instrument for cutting and cleaning pumpkins, &c.
