کرانا karrānā : کرانا karrānā S̱. (from کرا) v. n. To be hard or stiff. ¶ karānā (causal of کرنا Sans. कारण) v. a. To cause to be done or made, to actuate, to effect. ¶ kirānā, 1. (from Sans. क्रयण) s. m. Grocery. 2. (r. कृ Throw apart, scatter) v. a. To adjust. 3. To sift, to separate by turning round in a winnowing fan (differing from پهٿکنا phaṭaknā).
