کٿناس kaṭnās H s. m. The name of a bird. (Co- racias).

کڙواهٿ kaṛwā-haṭ S̱. s. f. Bitterness.

گلاب gul-āb P s. m. 1. Rosewater. 2. (Hind.) A rose. گلاب پاش gulāb-pāsh, s. f. A bottle from which rosewater is sprinkled. گلاب پاشي gulāb-pāsh-ī, s. f. Rosewater-sprinkling. گلاب پاشي کرنا gulāb pāshī karnā, To sprinkle with rosewater. گلاب چشم gulāb-chashm, adj. Meek-eyed. گلابنير gulāb-nīr, s. m. Rosewater. P.S̱. گلاب جامن gulāb-jāman, s. f. The rose-apple. (Eugenia jambos: Roxb.).

کاجل kājal S̱. (कज्जल comp. of कत् Bad, and जल Water, juice) s. m. Lampblack (with which the eyelids are painted). کاجل کي کوٿهري kājal kī koṭhrī, A place from going into which, or an affair the being engaged in which, brings disgrace or suspicion on oneʼs character.

کشيدگي kashīda-gī P s. f. Displeasure, sullenness, superciliousness, tension.

گجري gujrī H s. (dakh.) Market, square of a city: see چوک chauk. S. H. گجگاه gaj-gāh, s. m. A string composed of several tassels made of the hair of a species of ox and suspended as an ornament from an elephantʼs neck, or it is fastened to a horseʼs ears, extending on both sides to the saddle.
