کهونٿا khonṭā H adj. Deficient, adulterated, bad (as, coin), false, deceitful. ¶ khūnṭā, s. m. 1. A tent-pin, a pin, a peg, nail. 2. Protection. کهونٿي کي بل کودنا khūnṭe ke bal kūdnā, To become insolent relying on protection. (The idea seems to be taken from a personʼs teasing an animal, which, being fastened by a rope to a pin, is unable to get at him: so that کهونٿا is only indirectly a protection by restraining the adver- sary).

گدايانه gadā-yāna P adv. Like a beggar.

گياه giyāh P s. f. Grass, straw, green herbage.

کهچڙي khichṛī कृशरा S̱. s. f. 1. A dish made of pulse and rice boiled together. 2. The flower of the ber tree (Zizyphus jujuba). 3. Earnest to dancing women when they are en- gaged for an entertainment. 4. A mixed heap of gold and silver coin. 5. A barbarous mixture of two languages, a lingua franca or jargon.

کوفت koft P (from کوفتن) s. f. (Bruise); vexa- tion, grief, anguish. کوفت کوب koft-kob, Beating. کوفت گر koft-gar, s. m. A gilder.

گيگلي geglī H s. f. A trollop.

کٿهني कठिनी kaṭhinī S s. f. Chalk (for writing with).

کڙ kiṛ S̱. (contract. of کيڙا) s. m. A worm. کڙکهايا kiṛ-khāyā, adj. 1. Wormeaten. 2. Marked with smallpox, pitted, spotted.
