گهوگهوا ghūghūʼā H s. m. 1. An owl. 2. A block- head.

کہا kahā S̱. (from کہنا) s. m. Saying, order, word, call, confession, affirmation, advice, leave. (In Braj same as کيا kyā, q. v.) What? which? how? why?

کس kas S̱. (from कषाय) s. m. The decoction of a colouring substance.

کنکا कणिका kaṇikā S s. f. Fine sand (particu- larly grittiness or sand in bread), an atom, a small particle, a grain, a kind of rice.

کهيدا khedā H s. m. The trap or enclosure in which elephants are caught.

کلجگ kali-jug S (कलियुग) s. m. The fourth or iron age, comprising a period of 432,000 years, which is supposed to have begun about 3,000 years before the Christian era.
