کل कुल kul S s. m. Family, pedigree, race, re- lations, household. کلد يوي kul-devī, s. f. Any female deity worshipped in particular by a fa- mily through successive generations. کل کرني kul-karanī, s. m. See پٿواري paṭwārī.

گدا गदा gadā S s. f. A club, a mace. گدادهر gadā-dhar (mace-holding) A name of Kr̤ish̤ṇa. (Kr̤ish̤ṇa or Vish̤ṇu is represented holding a mace in one of his hands). گداجده gadā-judh (गदायुद्ध) s. Fighting with club or mace.

کوشش koshish P (from کوشيدن) s. f. Endeavour, effort, exertion, attempt, application, study. کوشش بيہوده koshish-i-behūda, A vain attempt. کوشش کرنا koshish karnā, To endeavour, at- tempt, make effort or exertion, to strive.

گريبان girebān P s. m. 1. A collar (of a gar- ment), cape. 2. Pocket, (fig.) the neck. گريبان گير girebān-gīr, adj. Seizing by the col- lar; an accuser, a prosecutor, plaintiff, com- plainant. گريبان مين منہہ ڐالنا girebān meṅ muṅh ḍālnā, To confess and be ashamed of oneʼs faults.
