گڙيار gaṛiyār S̱. (from गड Obstacle) adj. Stout- hearted, stiffnecked, stubborn, obstinate.

کوٿها koṭhā S̱. (कोष्ठ An apartment) s. m. A house built of burnt bricks or stone, a story, a floor.

کهيت khet क्षेत्र S̱. s. m. 1. A field, a field of battle. کهيت چهوڙنا khet chhoṛnā, v. a. To flee from the battle. کهيت رهنا khet rahnā, or کهيت مين رهنا khet meṅ rahnā, To remain on the field (of battle), to be killed. 2. Ground. 3. A holy place.

گرد gard P 1. s. f. Dust. گردآلود gard-ālūd or گرد آلوده gard-ālūda, adj. Defiled with dust, dusty. 2. part. act. (from گرديدن) in compos.

کاجن kājan S̱. (Sans. कारण) s. m. See کارن kāraṇ.

کفن kafan A s. m. A shroud (coffin). کفن پهاڙکي بولنا kafan phāṛke bolnā, Expresses the impos- sibility of remaining silent on the sight of some- thing wonderful. کفن چور kafan-chor, A shroud- stealer; caitiff, miscreant. A.H. کفنانا kafnānā (from کفن) v. a. To shroud, to dress for the grave.
