کان kān H 1. s. f. Modesty, shame, respect. کان کرنا kān karnā, To be ashamed. کان چهوڙنا kān chhoṛnā, To be impudent. کان نما ننا يا نکرنا kān-na-mānnā or -na-karnā, To treat with dis- respect. 2. s. m. A husband. (See کانهہ kānh). ¶ kāṅ, adv. (dakh.) See کہ‍ان kahāṅ.

کريل karīl S̱. s. m. The name of a plant. (Cap- paris aphylla?). See کرير karīr.

گرنا girnā H v. n. To fall, to drop, to sink, to tumble down, to be spit. گرتي پڙتي girte paṛte, With difficulty, with much ado.

کبل kubal H adj. (dakh.) Difficult, hard, severely, badly.

کپاري kapārī कपालिन् S̱. s. m. 1. A title of Siva, who carries a skull in his hand and a chain of skulls round his neck. 2. A cavesson. اردهہ کپاري ardh-kapārī (अर्द्धकपालीय) 1. Pain of half the head, Hemicrania. 2. An areca-nut having two kernels, or rather one of those kernels which are convex on one side and flat on the other, where it was in contact with its fellow. (These nuts, from the doctrine of signatures, are said to be a remedy for the He- micrania).

کهدبدانا khadbadānā H v. n. To simmer, to make a boiling noise.
