قـﮩقـﮩ‍ه ḳahḳaha A s. m. Loud laughter, horse- laugh. قـﮩقـﮩ‍ا کرنا ḳahḳahā karnā, or قـﮩقـﮩ‍ه مارنا ḳahḳaha mārnā, To laugh heartily, to giggle.

قانت ḳānit A (part. act. of قنوت) adj. 1. Obe- dient to God, devout. 2. Silent.

قرقرا ḳarḳarā A s. m. The name of a bird. (Ardea virgo).

To bow down. قد خميده ḳadd-ḵẖamīda, Bent in stature. قد دار ḳadd-dār, Of fine stature. قد کش ḳadd-kash or قد کشيده ḳadd-kashīda, adj. Tall and straight of stature. قد کشي ḳadd- kash-ī, s. f. Talness and straightness of stature. قد و قامت ḳadd-o-ḳāmat, s. m. Stature, figure (of a person).

قتل ḳatl A (Heb. ) s. m. Slaughter, killing, homicide, murder, assassination. قتل عام ḳatl-i-āﻌmm, A general massacre. قتل کرنا ḳatl karnā, To kill, to murder, execute. قتل گاه يا گـﮩ‍ہ ḳatl- gāh or -gah, Place of murder. قنل هونا ḳatl- honā, To be killed.

قلاش ḳallāsh T adj. 1. Shrewd, malicious. 2. Wretched, friendless, cun- ning. 3. Addicted to drinking, a drunkard.

قفتان ḳaftān T s. m. A robe of honour.

قرب ḳurb A (Heb. ) s. m. Propinquity, proximity, nearness, vicinity, adjacency; kin- dred, relationship.

قطره ḳat̤ra A s. m. A drop (plur. قطرات). قطره زن ḳat̤ra-zan, or قطره زنان ḳat̤ra-zanān, adj. Drop-striking; cantering, going quick on the road, running hard.
