فرخنده farḵẖunda P adj. Happy, fortunate. فرخنده طالع farḵẖunda-t̤āliﻌ, or فرخنده فال far- ḵẖunda-fāl, adj. Fortunate, lucky.

فراخ farāḵẖ P adj. Ample, capacious, spacious, wide, large, abundant, cheap, plentiful.

فالح fālij A (from فلج Heb. To divide) s. m. The palsy (especially, hemiplegia).

فرسخ farsaḵẖ P. s. m. A parasang (or mea- sure of about 18,000 feet), a league.

فانوس fānūs P s. f. A shade (to keep the wind from a candle), a lantern, a pharos, lighthouse. فانوس خيال fānūs-i-ḵẖiyāl, or فانوس خيالي fā- nūs-i-ḵẖiyāl-ī, A lantern which revolves by the smoke of the candle within, and has on the sides of it figures of various animals.

فلاخن falāḵẖun P s. f. A sling.

فراموش farāmosh P or farāmūsh, adj. Forgotten, forgetful.

ففط faḳat̤ A (q. d. then enough. Comp. of ف Then, &c. and قط ḳat̤, Enough, which from قط ḳat̤t̤a, Chald. To cut) adv. Merely, sim- ply, only, solely.

فعله faʼaﻌla A s. m. 1. Deed, action. 2. (plur. of فاعل) Agents. ¶ fiﻌla, See فعل fiﻌl.

فروخت faroḵẖt P (from فروختن) s. f. Sale, selling. فروخت کرنا faroḵẖt karnā, To sell.
