فيض faiẓ A (from فيض Heb. To abound, to be spread or disseminated) s. m. 1. Plenty, abundance, overflowing, profit. 2. Grace, fa- vour, bounty. فيض عام faiẓ-i-āﻌmm, General mu- nificence or goodness; liberal, profuse. فيضرسان faiẓ-rasān, adj. Beneficent, bountiful. فيض مدار faiẓ-madār, Centre or source of abundance or grace. فيضياب faiẓ-yāb, adj. Benefitted, blessed.

فضا faẓā A s. f. Openness and extensiveness of ground or place, area.

فرشي farshī A. s. f. A kind of ḥuḳḳa.

فريق farīḳ A (from فرق) s. m. A troop, squadron, corps, party. فريقين farīḳain, dual, Both par- ties. فريق ثاني farīḳ-i-s̤ānī, The defendant par- ty in a lawsuit, if consisting of several indivi- duals.

فضاله fuẓāla A (from فضل) s. m. Remains, re- mainder. (Plur. فضلات).

فرومانده faro-mānda P (comp. of فرو Low, under, and part. pass. of ماندن To live, to remain) adj. Dejected, tired, depressed, fatigued, weary, weak, helpless.

فلز filizz A s. m. 1. Ore, metal. 2. Dross, scoria. Plur. فلزات filizzāt, Mines, ores, metals.

فياض faiyāẓ A adj. (superl. of فيض) Liberal, ge- nerous, beneficent, profuse, most bountiful.
