غراب g̠ẖurāb A s. m. A crow; a kind of ship or sailing vessel, (vulg.) a grab.

غوله د نگ g̠ẖola-dang P. adj. 1. Turbulent, se- ditious, vicious. 2. Stout, fat, round.

غريبي g̠ẖarīb-ī A. s. f. 1. The state of being a foreigner, foreignness. 2. Humility, wretchedness.

غربا g̠ẖurabā A s. plur. (of غريب) Strangers the poor.

غلطه g̠ẖalt̤a P. (see گلتا galtā) s. m. 1. A leathern sheath over a scabbard. 2. A thick sort of cloth.

غشمشم g̠ẖashamsham A adj. One who carries his head erect, one whom nothing turns from his purpose.

غيباني g̠ẖaibānī A. s. f. A shameless woman, a strumpet.

غدار g̠ẖadār A. s. m. (dakh.) See غار g̠ẖār.

غازي g̠ẖāzī A (part. act. of غزا or غزو To purpose, to intend, to undertake a military expedition. Heb. To be strong or brave) s. m. A conqueror, a hero, one who fights against infidels. (Pers. plur. غازيان). غازي مرد g̠ẖāzī-mard, A hero; (met.) a horse. غازي ميان g̠ẖāzī-miyāṅ, was nephew of Sult̤ān Maḥmūd G̱ẖaznawī; a festival is held in commemoration of him at the beginning of May.
