غصب g̠ẖaṣb A s. m. Violence, injustice, force, oppression, ravishing, plunder.

غنڐه g̠ẖunḍa P. (for غنده g̠ẖunda, A large ele- phant) s. m. A fop. A. H. غنغنانا g̠ẖung̠ẖunānā (from غنّه) v. n. 1. To mutter, to grumble. 2. To buzz, to hum.

غضب g̠ẖaẓab A 1. s. m. Violence, oppression, injustice, compulsion, passion, rage, fury, wrath, vengeance, anger, curse, calamity. 2. adj. Angry. غضب آلوده g̠ẖaẓab-ālūda, adj. Op- pressive. غضب کرنا g̠ẖaẓab karnā, To oppress, to tyrannise (over). غضبناک g̠ẖaẓab-nāk, adj. Enraged, indignant, wrathful. غضبناکي g̠ẖa- ẓab-nāk-ī, s. f. Indignation.

غامض g̠ẖāmiẓ A (part. act. of غمض) adj. Ab- struse, difficult to be understood, enigmatical.

غٿ g̠ẖaṭ H s. m. 1. A troop, a throng, a crowd. 2. (dakh.) The sound or noise of a gulp or of swallowing a draught.

غوغا g̠ẖaug̠ẖā P s. m. Noise, disturbance, up- roar, clamour, alarm, brawl.

غيرت g̠ẖairat A s. f. 1. Modesty, bashfulness, honour, courage. 2. Jealousy, enmity, emula- tion, a nice sense of honour. غيرت افزا g̠ẖairat- afzā, Increasing emulation or jealousy. غيرت کش g̠ẖairat-kash, adj. Enduring jealousy, jealous. غيرتمند g̠ẖairat-mand, Jealous, emu- lous, high-minded.

غربي g̠ẖarb-ī A adj. Western, occidental.

غم g̠ẖam A (properly g̠ẖamm) s. m. Grief, sor- row, concern. غم کهـانا g̠ẖam-khānā, 1. To grieve, to mourn. 2. To have patience. غم آلوده g̠ẖam- ālūda, adj. Grieved. غم خوار g̠ẖam-ḵẖẉār, Devouring sorrow, i. e. 1. adj. Afflicted, sad. 2. Condoling, condoler, pitying. 3. An intimate friend, a comforter. غمخوارک g̠ẖam-ḵẖẉārak, s. A heron. غمخواري g̠ẖam-ḵẖẉār-ī, s. f. 1.

غلطه g̠ẖalt̤a P. (see گلتا galtā) s. m. 1. A leathern sheath over a scabbard. 2. A thick sort of cloth.
