عقايد aﻌḳaʼīd A s. m. plur. (of عقيده aﻌḳīda) Articles of religion.

عايد āﻌʼịd A part. act. (of عود Heb. To return) Turning towards, happening, referring to, coming back, reverting, being restored (as, money lent, &c.), returning.

عمان uﻌmmān A s. m. Sea, ocean.

علامه aﻌllāma A adj. (superl. of علم) Very wise or learned. ¶ aﻌlāma, s. m. Mark, sign, flag, standard.

عقيق aﻌḳīḳ A (Ch. ) s. m. A cornelian.

عدن aﻌdn A (Heb. ) s. f. Eden, paradise. ¶ aﻌdan, Name of an island or town in Yaman.
