آله āla A s. m. Same as آلت ālat, q. v.

استخوان ustuḵẖẉān P (Sans. अस्थि) s. m. A bone, the stone of fruit, &c.

ان سمجها an-samjhā S̱. (ان priv. and سمجها Under- stood) adj. Not understood, not knowing.

اربرانا arbarānā H v. n. To hurry, to be confused, confounded, perplexed, agitated, embar- rassed, &c. See هملبلانا and هڙبڙانا.

آبکاري āb-kār-ī P s. f. The business of a water- carrier, &c., the business of a distiller, distillation, a duty levied on distilleries.

اساکهہ a-sākh S̱. (अ and साक्ष्य Credit, reputa- tion) adj. Without credit or reputation.

ادهین अधीन अधि and इन A master ad- hīn S. or ādhīn, adj. Obedient, dependent, sub- missive, subservient, docile, subject, humble. S. ادهینتا अधीनता (from ادهین अधीन) adhī- na-tā or ādhīna-tā, s. f. Submission, obedience, obsequiousness, servility, subjection, humility.

انگل ungal S̱. s. m. (Sans. अंगुली) A finger; a fingerʼs breadth.

اظلم az̤lam A adj. compar. (of ظالم) More or most unjust, tyrannical, &c.

انور anwar A adj. compar. (from نور) More or very splendid, shining, resplendent. A.P. انوري anwar-ī, n. prop. Name of a celebrated Persian poet.
