عذرا aﻌẕrā A s. f. 1. A virgin. 2. Name of the celebrated mistress of Wāmiḳ.

عشوره aﻌshūra A s. m. See عاشورا āﻌshūrā.

عيش aﻌish A s. m. Pleasure, delight. عيش گاه aﻌish-gāh, s. f. Place of merriment. عيش محل aﻌish-maḥall, Banqueting-house.

عفي الله عنه aﻌfa-l-lāh-aﻌnhu A Whom God hath pardoned or had mercy on.

عارضه āﻌriẓa A s. m. Any thing necessary to be done, an accident, an event, an affection.

عروس aﻌrūs A (from عرس) s. f. Bride. عروس الخطوط aﻌrūsu-l-ḵẖut̤ūt̤, A kind of handwriting. A. P. عروسانه aﻌrūs-āna, adj. or adv. Bride-like.

عمارت iﻌmārat A (from عمر Heb. ) s. f. 1. That by which a place becomes habitable, a publick edifice, a building, structure, cultiva- tion, building. 2. A habitation. 3. A fortifi- cation. (Plur. عمارات).

عامي āﻌmī A (part. act. of عمي) adj. Blind, ig- norant.

عليحده aﻌlạ̄ḥida A. (prop. عليٰ حده aﻌlạ̄ ḥaddihi, On its own limit) adj. or adv. Separate, apart, distinct.

عطف aﻌt̤f A s. m. Favour, affection, kindness, a present, bounty. حرف عطف ḥarf-i-aﻌt̤f, A co- pulative conjunction.
