طحال t̤iḥāl A s. f. The spleen.

Fold, ply. طاق پررکهنا t̤āḳ par rakhnā (to lay on the shelf) 1. To refuse, to disobey. 2. To neglect, to abandon. طاق پرهونا t̤āḳ par honā, or طاق هونا t̤āḳ honā, To be laid on the shelf, to be thrown aside. طاق جفث t̤āḳ-juft, s. m. The game of odd or even.

طول t̤ūl A 1. s. m. Length, longitude; prolixity, diffusiveness. طول حرف t̤ūl-i-ḥarf, or طول سخحن t̤ūl-i-suḵẖan, or طول کلام t̤ūl-i-kalām, Prolixity, length of discourse, circumlocution, many words. 2. adj. Long, tall, extensive, lasting long.

طارم t̤ārim P. (Pers. تارم) s. m. Any building of a circular form with an arched or cupola roof, a wooden structure in gardens, &c. for the guarding of them.

طمنچه t̤amancha T s. m. A pistol. See تبنچه.

طالع t̤āliﻌ A part. act. (of طلع) 1. Rising (as, the sun), arising, appearing. 2. s. m. Fortune, prosperity. 3. Destiny (good or bad), horo- scope. 4. The dawn. طالع آزماٴي t̤āliﻌ-āzmā-ī, s. f. Trying oneʼs fortune. طالع شناس t̤āliﻌ- shinās, Fortuneteller, astrologer. طالع مند t̤āliﻌ- mand, adj, 1. Fortunate. 2. Wealthy. طالع مندي t̤āliﻌ-mand-ī, s. f. 1. Fortune, prosperity. 2. Wealth. طالع ور t̤āliﻌ-war, adj. 1. Fortunate. 2. Wealthy. طالع وري t̤āliﻌ-war-ī, s. f. Good fortune.

طﮩر t̤uhr A s. m. Purification, cleanliness, pu- rity.

طبابت t̤abābat A s. f. The practice of medicine.
