طنب t̤unub A (or t̤anab) s. The cord or rope of a tent, curtain, &c. (plur. اطناب).

طاق t̤āḳ A 1. s. m. An arched building, arch, cupola. 2. A recess in a wall, shelf, niche. 3. A window. 4. adj. Unique, singular. 5. Odd (not even). 6. Fold, ply. طاق پررکهنا t̤āḳ par rakhnā (to lay on the shelf) 1. To refuse, to disobey. 2. To neglect, to abandon. طاق پرهونا t̤āḳ par honā, or طاق هونا t̤āḳ honā, To be laid on the shelf, to be thrown aside. طاق جفث t̤āḳ-juft, s. m. The game of odd or even.

طلاق t̤alāḳ A (from طلق) s. f. Divorce, repudia- tion.

طبق t̤abaḳ A s. m. (dakh. s. f.) 1. A cover. 2. A plate, a dish, a leaf, a disk. 3. Gold leaf, tinfoil, &c. 4. One thing following another or consecutive; the story of a house, a layer or stratum, &c. class, order, degree.

طبقه t̤abḳa A (prop. t̤abaḳa) s. m. A story, floor, stage, degree, class, order, rank, shelf.

طباشير t̤abāshīr A s. f. The sugar of the bamboo. See بنس لوچن bans-lochan.

طي t̤ai A (Heb. To spin) s. m. Rolling up, folding, travelling, passing or crossing over. طي کرنا t̤ai karnā, 1. To fold, to roll up. 2. To constrain. 3. To abridge. 4. To travel, to pass or cross over. طي هونا t̤ai honā, To be travelled over.
