صاحبي ṣāḥib-ī A. s. f. 1. Rule, command, lord- ship. 2. A kind of grape so called. 3. A kind of silk cloth. صاحبي کرنا ṣāḥib-ī karnā, To lord, to rule, to govern.

صندلي ṣandal-ī A. 1. adj. Of the colour of sandal wood; brown, sorrel. 2. Made of sandal wood. 3. s. f. A kind of chair. 4. s. m. A sort of eu- nuch.

صندوقي ṣandūḳ-ī A. adj. Like a box. (Applied to a tomb and a scabbard of a sword made in that form).

صغير ṣag̠ẖīr A (from صغر) adj. Small, slender, inferiour, junior. صغيرسن ṣag̠ẖīr-sinn, adj. Of tender age.

صنمکده ṣanam-kada P s. m. An idol temple.

Discourse. صحبت برار ṣuḥbat-bar- ār, An acquaintance. صحبت براري ṣuḥbat-bar- ār-ī, Acquaintance. صحبت داري ṣuḥbat-dār-ī, s. f. Keeping company with, associating, ac- quaintance. A.
