شاخ shāḵẖ P (Sans. शाखा) s. f. 1. A bough, branch (of a tree). 2. A horn. شاخدار shāḵẖ-dār, adj. 1. Branchy. 2. Horned. شاخ درشاخ shāḵẖ-dar-shāḵẖ, Branched out, or diffused. شاخ زعفران shāḵẖ-i-zaﻌfarān (lit. شخ shaḵẖ P s. Any thing hard, hard ground, top of a hill.

شبا shubā A. s. (dakh.) for شبہہ shubha, q. v.
