Sucking, living on milk. شيرخورده shīr-ḵẖụrda, A suckling. شيردار shīr-dār, adj. Milch, giving much milk. شيرشکر shīr-shakar, 1. A kind of silk-cloth. 2. Affec- tion. شيرگرم shīr-garm, Milk-warm, lukewarm. شيرمال shīr-māl, s. f. Bread made with milk. شيرمست shīr-mast, A fine plump suckling, a fatling. شيرني shīr-i-nai, Juice of the sugar cane.

شريف sharīf A (from شرف) adj. Noble, eminent, honourable. شريف النفس sharīfu-n-nafs, adj. Noble of soul. شريف مکه sharīf-i-makka, The prince of Mecca.

شقيقه shaḳīḳa A (from شقّ) s. m. Temple of the head.

شرعي shar-īﻌ A adj. 1. Conformable to the sharﻌ, lawful, religious. 2. (met.) s. f. Tight drawers.
