سرد sard P adj. Cold, damp. سرد کرنا sard kar- nā, To cool, to pacify. سرد مـہر sard-mihr, A cold or lukewarm friend. سرد مـہري sard-mihr-ī, s. f. Coolness or lukewarmness in friendship, indifference. سرد هونا sard honā, To die.

سالم sālim A (part. act. of سلم Heb. To be safe or entire) adj. Safe, free, perfect, sound.

سليقه salīḳa A s. m. Nature, genius, taste, good disposition, method, knack, knowledge, dex- terity, address. سليقه شعار salīḳa-shiʼāﻌr, adj. Of good disposition. سليقه گفتگو salīḳa-e-guft- gū, s. m. Polite conversation. صاحب سليقه ṣāḥib-salīḳa, A man of taste. سليقه مجلس sa- līḳa-e-majlis, s. m. Good breeding.
