ستلوک satlok सत्यलोक S̱. s. m. Satyaloka, called also Brahmaloka, world or abode of Brahmā, translation to which exempts beings from further birth.

سبهاپت सभापति sabhā-pati S s. m. Chief or president of an assembly.

سندهيا संध्या sandhyā S s. f. 1. Twilight, either in the evening or morning. 2. A period of time, forenoon, afternoon or midday. 3. Religious abstraction, meditation, repetition of mantras, sipping water, &c. to be performed by the three first classes of Hindūs at particular and stated periods in the course of every day, especially at sunrise, sunset, and also, though less essentially, at noon.

سربدا सर्वदा sarbadā S or sarvadā, adv. Always, perpetually.

سپرداٴي sapardā-ī सांप्रदायिक S̱. s. m. Mu- sicians attending a dancing girl.

ساغر sāg̠ẖar P s. m. A bowl, cup, goblet. ساغرکش sāg̠ẖar-kash, Exhauster of the cup, &c.

سبهگره शुभग्रह subha-graha S s. m. Lucky planet.

ساون sāwan श्रावण S̱. s. m. The name of the fourth Hindū month, the full moon of which is near श्रवणा or a Aquilæ, July-August. ساون هري نه بهادون سوکهي sāwan hare na bhādoṅ sūkhe (Flourishing in summer and not fading in autumn) is applied to express continuance in the same state or situation.
