سگن sugan S̱. or sagun (शकुन) s. m. Augury, omen. See سکن sakun or شگون shugūn.

سکٿا sukṭā S̱. (from سوکهنا sūkhnā, q. v. or शुष्क) adj. Lean, thin, dry, emaciated. ¶ sikṭā (शर्करा) s. m. Potsherd, shard.

سنتاپي संतापी santāp-ī S adj. Sad, sorrowful.
