سلانا silānā S̱. (causal of سينا sīnā, q. v.) v. a. To cause to sew or stitch.

سفته sufta P part. pass. (from سفتن) Bored, pierced (a pearl).

سردابه sard-āba P (سرد Cold, and آب Water) s. m. A cold bath; a place built under ground to shelter from heat, a cool room for summer.

ساونتي sāwant-ī S̱. s. f. Valour, heroism, bravery.

سسرال susrāl S̱. (श्वशुरालय) s. f. Father-in-lawʼs house or family.

سوچهنا sochhnā S̱. v. n. (dakh.) See سوچنا sochnā.

سرمدي sarmadī A adj. Eternal, divine.

سمت samt A (improp. simt) s. f. A way, path, a part, side, quarter, towards. سمت الراس samtu-r-rās, The point of the heavens directly over-head, hence improperly called Zenith. ¶ simat, A mark (especially, made by burning).
