سانڐني sānḍnī H or sāṅṛnī, s. f. A female camel, a dromedary. سانڐني سوار sānḍnī-sawār, One who rides on a camel.

سننا sannā H v. n. 1. To be impregnated. 2. To be stained, soiled, smeared or defiled. 3. To be kneaded, mixed up (as, flour, dough, earth, &c.). S̱. H. سننـہ‍ارا sunan-hārā (see سننا sunnā) s. m. (dakh.) Hearer.

سوچ शौच sauch S s. m. Purification by ablu- tion, &c.; ablution.

سامرتهہ sāmarth सामर्थ्य S̱. s. m. Ability, power.

سيند کچريا send kachriyā H s. m. See سيند.

سرسرانا sursurānā S̱. (r. सृ Move) v. n. To creep along as a snake, to make the noise a snake does when creeping.

سکلانا siklānā S̱. v. a. (dakh.) See سکهلانا sikhlānā.

سيٿهي sīṭhī सिक्थ S̱. s. f. See سيٿهہ sīṭh.

سمدر समुद्र samudr S or samudra, s. m. Sea, ocean. سمدرپهين समुद्रफेन samudr-phen (lit. The froth of the ocean) s. m. The dorsal scale or bone of the cuttle fish (Sepia officinalis).

سلوک sulūk A (from سلک) s. m. 1. Road, way. 2. Manner, mode, conduct. 3. Intercourse, usage, treatment, civility, kindness, attention. سلوک کرنا sulūk karnā, To treat, proceed with, treat with kindness, befriend.
