سرنا surnā P s. m. A kind of pipe, a clarion, a hautboy. P. T. سرناچي surnā-chī, s. m. A clarion (or a hautboy) player.

سدهانا sudhānā S̱. (from سدهہ sudh) v. a. To put in mind, to cause to remember. S. سدهانت सिद्धान्त (comp. of सिद्ध Accom- plished, and अंत End) siddhānt, s. m. 1. Result, consequence, truth established by de- monstration. 2. A system of science.

ستکاري satkār-ī S̱. s. m. One who burns the dead.

سباس सुवास सु Good, and वास Smell su- bās S. s. f. Sweet smell, fragrance, odour, perfume.

سمن saman P s. m. 1. Jasmine. 2. Lily of the valley. (Sans. सुमनाः Great flowered jas- mine).
