زخم zaḵẖm P s. m. f. A wound, sore, scar, cut. زخم رسا zaḵẖm-rasā, A deep wound. زخم کهانا zaḵẖm khānā, To be wounded. زخم کاري zaḵẖm-i-kārī, A mortal wound.

The business of a goldsmith. 2. A kind of dialect. زرگل zar-i-gul, The yellow stamina of a rose. زرنقد zar-i-naḳd, Ready money, cash. زرنگار zar-nigār, adj. Gilt. زرنگاري zar-nigār-ī, s. f. Gilding.

زاغ zāg̠ẖ P s. m. A crow. زاغ آبي zāg̠ẖ-i-ābī, A coot.

زوال zawāl A (from زول) s. m. Decline, wane, de- clination, cessation; misery, wretchedness, set- ting of the sun. زوال پذير zawāl-paẕīr, adj. Transitory, fading.

زايل zāʼịl A (part. act. of زوال) adj. Deficient, failing, perishing, vanishing, waning, declining.

زيرکي zīrak-ī P s. f. Ingenuity, sagacity, acumen, acuteness, discernment.
