رکت پتي rakt-pittī S̱. (रक्तपित्त i. e. रक्त Blood, and पित्त Bile) 1. A painful and itchy eruption supposed to arise from excess of blood and bile. 2. A plant used for the cure of this disease.

ريب raib A (from راب Heb. To doubt, to dispute) s. m. 1. Doubt, suspicion, scandal. 2. Necessity. 3. Bad fortune. بي ريب وريا

رتيونت ratī-want S̱. adj. Fortunate, prosper- ous, flourishing.

رغم rag̠ẖm A (Heb. To be indignant) s. m. 1. Looking down, shame, reproach. 2. Re- pugnance, abhorrence. 3. Contempt. رعم سي rag̠ẖm se, In despite.

روٴين roʼeṅ S̱. (plur. of روان roʼāṅ, q. v.) s. f. The hair on the arms, &c. bristle, pile, nap, down. روٴين بدلنا roʼeṅ-badalnā, To become sleek and fat (a horse), to change his coat.

راول rāwal H s. m. (dakh. i. q. سپاهي) A soldier, military man (?).

ردر रुद्र rudr S or rudra, s. m. A name or form of Siva.

رجهويا rijhwaiyā S̱. (from رجهانا) adj. Having the quality of being pleased.

رکانا rukānā S̱. (caus. of روکنا roknā, q. v.) v. a. To cause to enclose, surround, stop, hinder.

ره rah P (contract. of راه rāh, q. v.) s. f. 1. A road, path. رهنما rah-numā, s. m. A guide, a pilot. ره نورد rah-naward, A traveller, a gal- loping horse. 2. Time (i. e. twice, three times, &c.).
