روان roʼāṅ रोम S̱. s. m. Hair of the body, down, wool. See روم rom.

راج دهر rāj-dhar S̱. (राज्यधर i. e. राज्य Kingdom, and part. act. of धृ Hold) s. m. The prime minister of a rājā.

رياضتي riyāẓat-ī A. s. m. A practiser of auste- rities, a devotee.

Fair-faced, of a bright counte- nance; unblamable, honest, respectable, se- lect. روسفيدي rū-sufaid-ī, s. f. Honourable conduct. روسياه rū-siyāh, adj. Disgraced, cri- minal, sinner, unfortunate. روسياهي rū-siyāh-ī, s. f. Disgrace, dishonour, criminal conduct.

ريحي rīḥ-ī A. adj. Windy, flatulent.

رسالت risālat A (from رسل) s. f. Mission, divine mission. رسالت پناه risālat-panāh, Asylum of prophecy, i. e. Muḥammad.
