رخصت ruḵẖṣat A (from رخص Was cheap, easy, remiss. Chald. Hoped, trusted) s. f. Leave, license, congé, dismission, discharge, permission, indulgence. رخصت دينا ruḵẖṣat denā, To permit, to dismiss, to give leave to go. رخصت طلب ruḵẖṣat-t̤alab, Asking leave to depart. رخصت کرنا ruḵẖṣat-karnā, To permit, to give leave, to dismiss. رخصت هونا ruḵẖṣat honā, To depart, to have leave to depart. A. P. رخصتانه ruḵẖṣat-āna, s. m. A parting or farewell present.

رکاب rikāb A (from رکب) s. f. 1. A stirrup. 2. Equipage, train. رکابدار rikāb-dār, A compa- nion, a stirrup-holder. رکاب دوال rikāb-doʼāl, A stirrup-leather.

رسيده rasīda P (from رسيدن) part. pass. Arrived, received, ripe, overtaken by. (Plur. رسيدگان).

راک rāk S̱. s. f. See راکهـ rākh.

رياضتي riyāẓat-ī A. s. m. A practiser of auste- rities, a devotee.

رشوتي rishwat-ī A. adj. One who takes bribes.

رجالا rijālā A. (for رزاله q. v.) adj. Mean, vulgar, rabble.

رنگواٴي rangwāʼī P. S̱. (from رنگانا) s. f. The price paid for colouring (particularly, for dying).

رکت پتي rakt-pittī S̱. (रक्तपित्त i. e. रक्त Blood, and पित्त Bile) 1. A painful and itchy eruption supposed to arise from excess of blood and bile. 2. A plant used for the cure of this disease.
