رنجک ranjak H s. f. Priming-powder. رنجک اڙانا ranjak uṛānā, v. a. To burn priming, to flash in the pan. رنجک اڙنا ranjak uṛnā, v. n. To flash in the pan (priming). رنجک پلانا ran- jak pilānā, v. a. To prime. رنجک دان ranjak- dān, s. m. Priming-pan or firepan.

رکيل rakel H s. m. (dakh.) Attack, assault: see حمله ḥamla.

رات rāt रात्रि S̱. s. f. Night. رات تهوڙي اورسانگ بـﮩت rāt thoṛī aur sāng bahut, is applied to express a hurry of business with little time to perform it in; also great expense with a small income. Mīr says:-- بن جو کچهـ بن سکي جواني مين رات تهوڙي هي اوربـﮩت هي سانگ Ban jo kuchh ban sake jawānī meṇ; rāt thoṛī hai aur bahut hai sāng, Acquire whatever you can in the season of youth: the task is arduous and the time short. (Ars longa vita brevis. Hippoc.). آدهي رات ādhī rāt, Midnight. راتون رات rātoṅ rāt, In the middle of the night.

رشحه rashʼḥa A s. Dripping, a drop, sweat, juice. (Plur. رشحات rashaḥāt, Drops, drippings).

رباب rabāb P s. m. A kind of violin, a rebeck.

رمچيرا ram-cherā S̱. (from राम see s. رام rām, and चेट A slave; q. d. Slave of Rām or of God) A common appellation of a slave.

روزانه roz-āna P adj. or adv. Daily, by day. s. m. A daily allowance.

ريـﮩڙو rehṛū H s. m. A sled, a sledge.

رفا rafā A (Heb. To heal; to repair) s. m. Mending (a garment), cementing broken friend- ship, quieting, pacifying, peace, tranquillity.
