رهنـﮩ‍ار rahan-hār S̱. (r. रह Quit, go) Going, moving.

ريجهـ rījh S̱. (from ريجهنا) s. f. 1. Choice, appro- bation, love, desire, wish. 2. Pleasing, satisfying. ريجهـ پچانا rījh pachānā, v. a. To conceal oneʼs gratification. ريجهـ پچاؤ rījh-pachāʼū, s. m. A person who conceals his inclination.

روٿا roṭā S̱. (from रोटी) s. m. 1. Thick bread. 2. (met.) Sweetmeats offered to Ha- nūmān.

راتب rātib A s. m. Daily allowance of food (to animals, particularly dogs and elephants), al- lowance, portion, provision.

روسنا rosnā S̱. or rūsnā (रोषण r. रुष Be angry) v. n. To be angry, to be displeased, to have a misunderstanding with a friend.

رکمه rukma रुक्मी S̱. s. m. The name of the brother-in-law of Kr̤ish̤ṇa and son of Bhīsh̤- maka.

ريوڙي rewṛī H s. f. A kind of sweetmeat. ريوڙي کي پهيرمين پڙنا rewṛī ke pher meṅ paṛnā, v. n. To be involved in difficulties. (This alludes to a game founded on the principle of geometrical progression, wherein one party bets that he will eat one of these sweet cakes so many times doubled, and is confounded at finding it amount to a quantity far beyond his expectation).
