ڐک ḍuk H s. m. A blow with the fist.

ڐهينڙي ḍhenṛī H s. f. 1. The capsule of the poppy (or of the cotton tree), a poppy-head. 2. An ornament worn in the ear.

ڐنکاٴي ḍankā-ī S̱. s. f. Wages of a beater of the kettledrum.

ڐهيٿايگي ḍhīṭāʼegī S̱. s. f. (dakh.) See ڐهٿهاي ḍhiṭhāʼī.

ڐهپ ڐهپانا ḍhapḍhapānā H (from Pers. دف) v. a. To thump a drum (as children do).

ڐرپنا ḍarapnā S̱. (r. दृ) v. n. To fear, be fright- ened, dread.

ڐهاٿا ḍhāṭā H s. m. A handkerchief tied over the turband and over the ears.

ڐکڐکانا ḍakḍakānā H v. n. See ڐگڐگانا ḍag-ḍa- gānā.

ڐولا ḍolā दोला S̱. s. m. 1. A kind of sedan. 2. A wife from an inferiour family, married by a person of rank, who gives a present to her parents. She ranks below wives of equal fa- mily, but above concubines. ڐولا دينا ḍolā-denā, To give a daughter to a superiour by way of tribute.

ڐبونا ḍubonā H or ḍabonā (caus. of ڐوبنا) v. a. To drown, immerse, flood; to ruin, &c. see ڐبانا ḍubānā. ڐبودينا ḍubo denā, v. a. To exhaust, to ruin, to demolish, to drown.
