ڐبکنا ḍabaknā H v. n. To glitter.

ڐهکنا ḍhuknā H v. n. 1. To enter, to penetrate. 2. To take aim, to look, to have regard or incli- nation (to). 3. To sympathize.

ڐبانا ḍubānā H (caus. of ڐوبنا ḍūbnā) v. a. 1. To cause to sink, to immerse, dip. 2. To demo- lish, ruin, destroy.

ڐکوتيا ḍakautiyā H s. m. A cast of Hindūs descended from a brāh- maṇ on the fatherʼs and a gwālin on the mo- therʼs side. They subsist on alms on Saturday, and are skilled in astrology.

ڐپهالي ḍaph-ālī P. (from دف) s. m. 1. A kind of faḳīr, who always plays upon a musical instru- ment called دف. 2. (met.) A chatterer.
