اسپغول ispag̠ẖol P s. m. Seed of fleawort or plantain. (Plantago ispaghul: see As. Res. vol. xi, p. 174).

آستانه āstāna P s. m. Same as آستان q. v. آستانه بوسي āstāna-bos-ī, s. f. Kissing the threshold; paying respects.

آگا āgā अग्र S̱. s. m. The front, the forepart; the space in front of a house, the forepart of a turband. آگا پیچها کرنا āgā pīchhā karnā, v. n. To hesitate, waver, boggle, demur, stand shill-I-shall-I.

ابتر abtar A (from بتر Was destitute of a tail: Heb. Cut short) adj. Ruined, spoiled, worthless, destitute of good qualities, dissolute, disorderly, disordered, wanton. ابترکرنا abtar karnā, To ruin, spoil, disorder.
