ڐهلانا ḍhulānā H v. a. 1. (caus. of ڐهونا) To cause to be carried. 2. (caus. of ڐهلنا ḍhulnā) To spill (water, &c.).

ڐاکني डाकिनी ḍākinī S s. f. A kind of female imp or evil being; a witch, a termagant.

ڐهيو ḍheʼū H s. m. A wave.

ڐالي ḍālī H s. f. 1. A present of fruit, &c. a basket of fruit, &c. 2. A branch, a bough.

ڐوبنا ḍūbnā H v. n. 1. To dive. 2. To drown. 3. To be immerged or deluged. 4. To set, to sink; to be destroyed or ruined. 5. To be absorbed (in business, study, &c.). دل ڐوبنا dil-ḍūbnā, To faint.

ڐانڐ ḍānḍ दंड S̱. s. m. 1. Retaliation, punish- ment, penalty, fine, amercement, mulct, revenge, forfeit. 2. An oar. 3. The backbone. 4. A stick. 5. A line. ڐانڐ بهرنا ḍānḍ bharnā, v. a. To pay a fine. ڐانڐ لينا ḍānḍ lenā, To take a fine, to fine, to amerce.

ڐبڐبانا ḍabḍabānā H v. a. To fill with water or tears (the eyes). آنکهين ڐبڐبانا ānkheṅ ḍab- ḍabānā or آنسو ڐبڐبانا āṅsū ḍabḍabānā, To be on the point of shedding tears.
