ڐکوت ḍakaut H s. m. A cast of Hindūs descended from a brāh- maṇ on the fatherʼs and a gwālin on the mo- therʼs side. They subsist on alms on Saturday, and are skilled in astrology.

The gentleman is in his garden consisting of a tree and a half (and the bakāyan, Melia sempervirens, here mentioned, is a tree of no use or estimation) is applied to a person who assumes consequence without reason. H. S̱. ڐيڙه گت ḍeṛh-gat, s. f. A kind of dance.

ڐهيل ḍhīl H s. f. Looseness, relaxedness, re- missness, laziness, inattention, delay.

ڐهوکا ḍhūkā H s. m. Tapping or shoving, by way of calling the attention of one spoken to. ڐهوکا دينا ḍhūkā denā, v. a. 1. To peep. 2. To tap.

ڐيـﮩـ ḍīh P. (from ده dih) s. m. A haunt, a place, a dwelling, village.

ڐگرانا ḍagrānā H (causal of ڐگرنا) v. a. To roll.
