دهسا dhussā H s. m. Flannel, a kind of coarse stuff made of shawl-wool.

دهننتري dhanantarī S̱. 1. (धन्वन्तरि) n. prop. The name of a physician in the court of Indra. 2. (धनवत्तर) adj. Powerful, strong.

دودهـ dūdh S̱. (दुग्ध r. दुह Milk) s. m. 1. Milk. 2. The juice (or milk) of certain bushes. دودهـ آدهاري dūdh-ādhārī (दुग्धाहारी) adj. Living on milk. دوده بڙهنا dūdh baṛhnā, v. n. دربل दुर्बल dur-bal S adj. Weak, infirm, faint, powerless, poor.

دبيل dabel H (from دبنا) s. m. Subject, person under dominion.

دالان dālān P s. m. A hall. دردالان dar-dālān, s. m. An outer hall.

دوال doʼāl P s. f. A leather strap, a belt. دوال پا doʼāl-pā, adj. 1. Webfooted. 2. A fabulous race with legs like thongs, who are said to deceive and devour unwary travellers.

دوڙنا dauṛnā S̱. (r. धोर Run) v. n. To run, to gallop, course, drive, assault, rush, invade; toil. S̱. H. دوڙنا دهوپنا dauṛ-nā dhūp-nā, v. n. To run violently, to use great exertion, to toil.

دهکانا dahkānā S̱. (caus. of دهکنا) v. a. 1. To burn, to kindle. 2. To ruin, destroy, lose. 3. To cause to regret. 4. To heat (iron, &c.).

درمس durmus H s. m. A pounder, an instrument for pounding pavements with, a rammer.
