دها dah-ā P (from ده Ten) s. m. 1. The first ten days of the Muḥarram: called also عشره and عاشورا 2. The models of the tombs of Ḥasan and Ḥusain, or the model of a building containing the tombs, which are carried about in procession during those ten days. On the tenth day the tombs are buried, or in some places thrown into water: the building, if made of cheap materials, shares the same fate: if costly, it is carried back and deposited in the dargāh or Karbalā.

دنيا dunyā A (either as being near and present or as worthless, from دنو) s. f. 1. The world. 2. (met.) People, goods of the world. دنيا پواتاني پڙنا dunyā po utāne paṛnā (dakh.) To be proud or haughty. دنيا دار dunyā-dār, Worldly, a person of the world. دنيا داري dunyā-dār-ī, s. f. Economy, worldliness, attention to the concerns of the world. دنيا طلبي dunyā-t̤alab-ī, s. f. Seeking the goods of the world, worldliness.

ديول dewal देवालय S̱. s. m. A temple where idols are worshipped, a temple, a pagoda.

دهڙکا dhaṛkā H s. m. 1. Fear, doubt, suspense. 2. Palpitation. 3. Thunder.
