دهاڙ dhāṛ H s. f. A crowd, a multitude.

دره dirra A s. m. A scourge.

دلاک dallāk A s. m. A waiter at the baths that rubs, &c. the bodies of those who bathe, a barber.

درڙه दृढ dr̤iṛh S adj. Firm, strong.

ديروزه dī-roz-a P adj. Of yesterday.

دبنا dabnā H v. n. 1. To be snubbed, to crouch, shrink, be pressed down, be bowed down, give way, to be awed. 2. To be concealed. دب آنا dab-ānā, v. n. To advance. دب جانا dab jānā, To retire, to withdraw, to be mortified, to be suppressed. دب چلنا يا نکلنا dab-chalnā or -nikalnā, To be awed, to be overpowered. دب مرنا dab marnā, To be crushed to death. دبي پانو dabe-pāṅw or دبي پاون dabe-pāoṅ, With silent steps, softly, gently.

دهگولنا dhagolnā H v. n. To roll, to wallow.

داس dās P s. m. A sickle, a scythe.

دوو do-ū S̱. (from द्वौ) adj. (in Braj) Both.

دوهان dohān S̱. (द्विहायन q. d. of two years old) s. m. A young bullock, a steer.
