دهملا dhumlā S̱. (from धूम Smoke) adj. Blind, dim-sighted.

دبانا dabānā H (caus. of دبنا) v. a. 1. To press down. 2. To snub, to chide, to keep under, to check, curb, restrain, repress, awe, depress, bow down, suppress. دبا لينا dabā lenā, To encroach upon. دبا مارنا dabā mārnā, 1. دوج بر dūj-bar S̱. (from द्विजायावर) s. m. A man who marries a second wife, a bigamist. S. دوجپتني द्विजपत्नी (द्विज Twice-born, i. e. A brāhmaṇ, and पत्नी Wife) dwijapatnī, s. f. The wife of a brāhmaṇ.
