دکهناين दक्षिणायन dakkh̤iṇāyan S s. m. Southing. دکهناين سورج dakkh̤iṇāyan-sūraj (दक्षिणायनसूर्य्य) The winter solstice, sunʼs southing, the period of the sunʼs being in the southern hemisphere, southern declination.

دهيو dahyau S̱. 1. See دهي dahi. 2. Third pers. sing. mas. past tense of دهنون dahnauṅ.

دهندهرانا dhundh-rānā S̱. v. n. To be dull, misty.

دهک ره جانا يا هوجانا dhak-rahjānā H or -hojānā, To be confounded at a sudden disaster.

درهي darhī H s. f. The name of a fish, a sort of carp. (Cyprinus).

دي مارنا de mārnā S̱. v. a. To dash on the ground, to throw, to stamp.

دفرقليا dafar ḳaliyā A. Tasteless victuals, a dish in which much broth, vegetables, &c. are mixed to make it go the further, wishwash.

دات dāt दातृत्व S̱. s. m. Bountifulness. ¶ For دانت dānt, q. v. S. داتا दाता (r. दा Give) dātā, adj. Liberal, generous; subst. Giver, benefactor, donor.

دواسپه do-asp-a P (دو Two, and اسپ A horse: i. e. having one horse to relieve another, or
