دفالي daf-ālī P. s. m. He whose business it is to play on the tambourin.

دوج द्विज dwija S (twice-born) s. m. A man of either of the three first classes (the Brāhmaṇs, Ksh̤atriyas, and Vaisyas being initiated into their respective tribes by investiture with the sacred thread, which is called a second birth).

دونر doṅr डुंडुभ S̱. s. m. Name of a species of snake.
