دانڐ dānḍ दंड S̱. s. m. Fine, punishment, amercement, oppression, injustice, injury. S̱. H. دانڐا مينڐا dānḍā-menḍā (from Sans. दंड A stick put up as a land-mark, and h. مينڐ A bank raised for the like purpose) s. m. The frontier or boundary between the lands of two proprietors.
