دگڙ dagaṛ H s. A kettledrum.

دهوپ धूप dhūp S s. f. A perfume burnt by Hindūs at the time of worshipping. دهوپ داني dhūp-dānī, s. f. A pot for keeping dhūp. H. S̱. دهوپکالا dhūp-kālā (from دهوپ Sunshine, and काल Time, weather, season) s. m. The hot weather.

دستکي dastakī P s. f. 1. A pocketbook, a tweezer-case. 2. A falconerʼs glove.

دهوبن dhob-in S̱. s. f. A washer-woman, a washer- manʼs wife.

دهننتري dhanantarī S̱. 1. (धन्वन्तरि) n. prop. The name of a physician in the court of Indra. 2. (धनवत्तर) adj. Powerful, strong.

دنگا dangā H s. m. Wrangling, confusion, mu- tiny, sedition, rebellion. دنگي باز dange-bāz, adj. Mutinous, turbulent, riotous.

دلميان dulmiyān H s. m. A small purse.

داخل dāḵẖil A (from دخل) part. act. 1. Entering, penetrating, arriving. 2. (adjectively) Entered, produced. 3. (substantively) Inside, interiour part; within. داخل خارج کرنا dāḵẖil ḵẖārij karnā, To transfer property (by taking out the name of the former proprietor from a deed or register and inserting that of the new). داخل کرنا dāḵẖil karnā, To cause to enter or arrive, to place or fix in; to produce, to include, to insert or introduce. داخل هونا dāḵẖil honā, To enter, to arrive, to penetrate, to belong, to appertain, to be inserted.
