ديه देह deh S s. f. The body. ديه دارنا deh durānā, To conceal or cover the privities. ديه سنبهالنا deh sambhālnā, To keep up oneʼs spirits, to be firm, to recover oneʼs self.

دهيلا dhelā H s. m. Same as ادهيلا adhelā, q. v.

دفعه dafʼaﻌ A s. f. Time, a moment, one time, one turn. دفعه بدفعه dafʼaﻌ ba-dafʼaﻌ, adv. From time to time, repeatedly. دفعه دار dafʼaﻌ-dār, s. m. An officer of cavalry so called.

دهسنا dhasnā H v. n. To be pierced, stuck into, to be penetrated, to be thrust into, to sink, to enter, run into.

دينو dīnau S̱. 3d pers. sing. mas. past tense of دينون denauṅ (in Braj) To give.

دايم dāʼịm A (part. act. of دوم) adj. Perpetual, permanent, ceaseless, eternal, continual, always. دايم الخمر dāʼịmu-l-ḵẖamr, adj. Sot, drunkard. دايم المرض dāʼịmu-l-maraẓ, Eternally sick.

دغلي dag̠ẖlī P s. f. Treachery, villainy, fraud. P. H. دغنا dag̠ẖnā (from داغ) v. n. 1. To be fired off (as, a gun). 2. To be marked. A. H. دغوليا dag̠ẖoliyā (from دغل) s. m. An im- postor. P. A. H. دغيلا dag̠ẖīlā, adj. 1. (from داغ) Stained, spotted. 2. (from دغل) Deceitful.

دهننتري dhanantarī S̱. 1. (धन्वन्तरि) n. prop. The name of a physician in the court of Indra. 2. (धनवत्तर) adj. Powerful, strong.

دهنگارنا dhungār-nā H v. a. To season with spices.

دهمار dhamār H s. m. 1. Name of a chime or time in musick. 2. The same as دهمال dhammāl.
