درانتي darāntī H s. f. A sickle.

درانا durānā H v. a. To hide, to conceal.

دميتا damītā H adj. (dakh.) Rich, wealthy.

ديوانه dīwana P adj. Mad, insane, inspired.

درانا darrānā H adj. Going straight and quickly, without fear or delay, straight forwards.

دراني durrānī P s. m. The name of a tribe of Paṭhāns, inhabiting the country about Ḳandhār. They are said to have got this name from wearing pearls in the ear. They are also called Abdālīs.

درڙهتا दृढता dr̤iṛhatā S s. f. Firmness. P. A. درز darz, s. m. 1. Seam or suture (of a gar- ment, &c.), a crack, a cleft, flaw. 2. A rag, a slip of cloth, a long strip of cloth, a narrow shred.

دريا daryā P s. m. (in dakh. f.) The sea, a river, the waters. دريا دلي daryā-dil-ī, s. f. Sea-like expansion of heart; great liberality.

دهسکنا dhasaknā H v. n. To give way, to sink (as, a quagmire or slough).
