دار dār A (Heb. and Ch. To encircle, to dwell) s. m. A dwelling, a mansion, habitation, abode, country. دار الامان dāru-l-amān, s. m. The house of safety, i. e. a country with which there is peace. دار البقا dāru-l-baḳā, The abode of permanency, i. e. the next world. دار البوار dāru-l-bawār, s. m. The abode of perdition, i. e. hell. دار الخلافت يا سلطنت يا امارت يا حکومت dāru-l-ḵẖilāfat or -salt̤anat, or -imārat, -or ḥukūmat, s. m.
