خارج ḵẖārij A (from خرج Heb. ) part. or adj. Being out, external, out, without, outcast. خارج کرنا ḵẖārij karnā, To exclude, expel, dispossess.

خراٿا ḵẖarrāṭā H s. m. Snoring. خراٿا مارنا ḵẖarrāṭā mārnā, To snore.

خلفا ḵẖulafā A s. plur. of خليفه ḵẖalīfa, q. v.

خاگينه ḵẖāg-īna P s. m. Fried eggs, a kind of dish made of eggs, an omelet.

خياري ḵẖayārī A s. f. A kind of violet.

خطي ḵẖat̤t̤-ī A adj. 1. Linear, in writing, of the beard, &c. 2. or ḵẖit̤t̤ī, Of ḵẖat̤t̤ or ḵẖit̤t̤ (spears, so named from the place where they were bought).

خورنده ḵẖụranda P part. act. (from خوردن) used substantively, An eater, feeder, gormandizer.

خيشوم ḵẖaishūm A (from خشم) s. m. 1. The nose, the cartilaginous part of it. 2. Nasal let- ters. 3. The ridge or summit of a mountain.

خدمت ḵẖidmat A s. f. Service, attendance, em- ployment, ministry, office, appointment, duty, use. (Arab. plur. خدمات ḵẖidmāt). خدمت کرنا ḵẖidmat karnā, 1. To serve, to attend, to wait on. 2. (met.) To satirize, to beat. خدمتگار ḵẖidmat-gār, s. m. A butler, a servant, attend- ant. خدمتگاري ḵẖidmat-gār-ī, s. f. Attendance, service, ministry. A. P. خدمتگذاري ḵẖidmat-guẕār-ī, s. f. Service, readiness to serve.
